OBITUARY Bruna G. McKinnis October 6, 1933 – January 17, 2019 Bruna G. McKinnis of New Braunfels passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2019. She was born to Nicolas and Maria T. (Lopez) Garcia on October 6, 1933 in New Braunfels. Bruna married Albert McKinnis on March 27, 1952 and raised seven children together.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Albert; sisters, Dominga Cornonado and Angelita Eureste; and brothers, Louis and Guadalupe Garcia. She is survived by her children, Mary Ozuna and husband Juan, Albert McKinnis Jr. And wife Joy; Linda Thompson and husband Jim; Jesus McKinnis, Raymond McKinnis and wife Marina, Eddie McKinnis and wife Maggie, Lisa McKinnis; and brother, Jim Garcia and wife Maria Louisa; 19 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.

A visitation will be Monday, January 21, 2019 at Zoeller Funeral Home from 5-9 pm, Rosary at 7 pm. Her Funeral Service will be Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at Zoeller Funeral Home at 10 am. Burial will immediately follow at Comal Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hope Hospice. FAMILY She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Albert; sisters, Dominga Cornonado and Angelita Eureste; and brothers, Louis and Guadalupe Garcia. She is survived by her children, Mary Ozuna and husband Juan, Albert McKinnis Jr. And wife Joy; Linda Thompson and husband Jim; Jesus McKinnis, Raymond McKinnis and wife Marina, Eddie McKinnis and wife Maggie, Lisa McKinnis; and brother, Jim Garcia and wife Maria Louisa; 19 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
