Buddy Hill, a resident of Ashford, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Monday, May 13, 2019 at his residence. He was 65. Funeral services for Buddy will be held at 10:30 AM Thursday, May 16, 2019 at Eastside Freewill Baptist Church with Reverend Jerry Smith officiating.

Burial will follow in Crestlawn Memorial cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 PM until 7 PM at Southern Heritage Funeral Home, Wednesday, May 15, 2019. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Eastside Freewill Baptist, 1679 E. Main Street, Dothan, AL 36301.

Buddy was born in Cottonwood, Alabama October 26, 1953 and was raised in Bradenton, Florida. He was a 1971 graduate of Southeast High School and later attended Manatee Jr. College. After moving back, he was employed with Emfinger Steel until his retirement.

Buddy loved his God, his church, his family and was a member at Eastside Freewill Baptist. Buddy is preceded in death by his father, Robert, James Hill. Survivors include his mother, Corine Hill; sisters, Linda Stephens, Debbie Johnson, Martha Killingsworth; brothers, Tim Hill (Judy), Stan Hill (Tammy); numerous nieces and nephews.
