OBITUARY Burton Silverstein July 17, 1931 – January 6, 2019 On Sunday, January 6th, 2019, Burton Harvard Silverstein, adoring husband, loving father and doting grandparent, passed away surrounded by his family after a long and wonderful life. A proud Korean War Veteran, he was stationed in Europe. With an oversized personality and a big heart, he had his family laughing always.

Burt was a successful business man. Everywhere he went, people were drawn to him and he had an uncommon ability to draw others out with his keen sense of humor and natural curiosity. He could talk to anyone on any subject; it was truly a gift.

Burt and his wife were fortunate to travel all over the world together. Spain, Portugal, Hong Kong, Paris and Ireland were among his favorite places to visit. He loved to regale his family members with stories of the people he had met and places he had been.

Burt is survived by his wife, Joan Silverstein, his son Larry and his wife Eileen and their children Amanda, Dana and Brandon; his son Stephen and his wife Donna and their children Jamie and husband Tim and Rebecca; and his daughter Nancy and her husband Tim and their children Mitchell, Reid and Rachel.
