Rincon, Mr. Byron Sikes, age 67, was reunited with his wife, Gladys on Saturday, May 26, 2018. He was born September 24, 1950 in Reidsville to Willis and Christeen Murphey Sikes. He was a US Army Veteran where he served with the 1st Brigade 25th Infantry Division and owned and operated a trucking business for forty five years.

Byron was an avid music lover and was preceded in death by his parents; wife; brother, Howard Sikes; and a sister, Shirley Brock. He is survived by his children, Shawn Sikes and Heather Ferrell; brothers, Ellis Sikes, Chris Sikes, and Louie Anderson; sisters, Barbara Hinton and Gail Horton; grandchildren, Ashley Sikes, Kelly Sikes, Marlie Stineman, Byron McCleskey, and Abigail McCleskey;four great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be announced later by Low Country Cremation and Burial.
