Charles Rudolph Lee, 72, of Wade, passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2019, at his home, in the presence his loving family. He was born on April 2, 1947, to the late Young and Rosa Lee. Also, preceding Rudolph in death was his sisters, Rachel Forest, Jackie Baker; and brother, Lloyd Lee.

Rudolph was the owner of Action Plumbing Co. for over 20 years where he took great pride in his business and work ethic. No matter what he was doing he was sure to be working hard. He was an avid dirt track racing fan and race car owner.

He also enjoyed NASCAR. He experienced great joy watching his grandsons follow in his footsteps, with their love of racing and driving race karts. Rudolph is survived by his wife of 55 years, Carol Campbell Lee; daughters, Tammy Green and husband Hunter, Ginger Smith and husband Ronnie, all of Fayetteville; Grandsons, Nathan Green and wife Jessica, and Austin Smith; great granddaughters Hailee and Hannah Green; sister, Ann McHargue and husband Richard of Valdosta, GA; and his beloved dog, Fido.

The family will welcome friends from 6 to 8 on Wednesday at Tammy’s house, 6322 NC Hwy 210 S, Stedman, NC 28391. A visitation will also be held at Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service from 5 to 6pm on Thursday, May 9, 2019, at Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service. A memorial service will follow at 6pm.

The family would like to thank the Nurses and Staff on 2nd South at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center as well as Community Hospice Care, and Melissa Dalton for the beautiful flower arrangement. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to Victory Junction, at www. victoryjunction.org.
