OBITUARY Calvin E Bagwell September 8, 1922 – September 22, 2018 Calvin Earlie Bagwell, 96, of Tabor Woods Road, Pickens, passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2018, at Richard Campbell Veterans Nursing Home. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He was the son of the late Forrest Lee Bagwell and Hazel Atkins Bagwell O’Neal.

He was a U.S. Army WWII veteran who served in the 94th Infantry Division. Earlie was a great athlete in baseball and golf and was a member of Tabor United Methodist Church. He is survived by a daughter Linda B. Rembert; one son, Douglas Earl Bagwell; one granddaughter Monica York and husband Dave (deceased); two great-granddaughters; one step granddaughter and one step grandson and their children; one half sister and her husband and three nieces.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 25, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Gardens, with the Reverend Roger Gwinn officiating. The family will receive friends following the graveside service. Memorials may be made to Tabor United Methodist Church to Theresa Talley, 253 Doberman Trail Easley, SC 29641.
