Candi J. Bowen August 27, 1975 – January 24, 2019 Send Flowers Sign Guestbook Candi J. Bowen, age 43, of Butler, Indiana, passed away at 11:29 P.M. on Thursday, January 24, 2019, at Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis, Indiana, after an extended illness. Ms. Bowen was a 1994 graduate of Eastside High School and was currently employed by Hermac Inc. in Auburn, Indiana. She was very energetic, loved to sing, play online games especially, Wordscape, and was an avid Ohio State University fan.

She also loved spending time with her kids and family. Candi J. (Hopkins) Bowen was born on August 27, 1975, in Auburn, Indiana, the daughter of Raymond Doyle and CynDee (Howe) Hopkins. She married Randy L. Bowen on March 26, 1999, in Cooney, Ohio, and he preceded her in death on March 20, 2003.

She is survived by her children, Cebrina Bowen and Randy Bowen (and girlfriend, Sierra Lovins) all of Butler; her parents, Raymond and CynDee Hopkins, of Butler; two brothers, Raymond David Hopkins and Kenneth-Eric Smith Hopkins, both of Butler; and her nieces and nephews, Natalie, Blake, Alivia and Ray’Ka Jo’Vona Ellis Hopkins. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 31, 2019, from 4:00-8:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 114 East Hull Street, Edgerton. Services will be held on Friday, February 1, 2019, at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Byron Adams officiating.

Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Edgerton. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the family for expenses.
