Obituary for Mrs. Candice Player Hancock Candice Player Hancock, 41, of Americus, GA passed away at her residence Tuesday, December 25, 2018 surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 29th at First Baptist Church. Mr. Edgar Player and Rev.

Keith Parks will officiate. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. A visitation will be held Friday evening December 28th at Aldridge Funeral Services.

Friends may visit the family residence 497 Lakewood Avenue Americus. Candice was born in Americus, GA, January 28, 1977 daughter of the late Randall Lamar Player Sr. and Judy Player Tindol. She earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and was the Manager of the District Attorney’s Office in Sumter County.

She was a member of Calvary Episcopal Church in Americus. Survivors include her husband Dandon Hancock of Americus, her mother Judy Player Tindol of Macon, a daughter Tindol Hancock of Americus and a son Aaron Hancock. A brother Randall “Randy” Player of Lizella; her paternal grandmother Amelia Player of Americus and her Father-in-law and Mother-in-law Gregory “Greg” R. Hancock and Deborah; three sisters-in-law Kristin Hancock of St Pete, FL, Ashley Davis of Ellaville and Rebecca Hancock of Americus.

Uncles and Aunts, Jimmy Tindol and Holley of Tallassee, Al Jo Anne Bauschka of Atlanta, Jan Harrell and Tommy of Americus, Lisa Mauer and Lee of Montgomery, AL, Christel Hardwick of Atlanta and Paula Chappell and Frank of Zephyrhills, FL. A Nephew Cole Player and many cousins also survive. Candice was preceded in death by her Father Randall Lamar Player, her maternal grandparents Kyle and Josie Tindol, her paternal grandfather Paul Player and one Aunt, Holley Belcher.
