Wales- Candida S. Ross, 77, passed away, Saturday February 9, 2019. Candy was born July 7, 1941 in Cleveland, OH to the late George and Helen Smith. She was a resident of Monson for many years before moving to Wales.

Candy was a graduate of the University of Massachusetts and worked at The Monson Savings Bank as a teller and then later in the accounting department where she retired. She was a dedicated member of Bethany Charismatic Catholic Church in Brimfield and a volunteer at the Springfield Rescue Mission. Candida was predeceased by her parents.

She is survived by her sister, Nahama McHarg of Bermuda; and her four children, Richard Ross, Jr., Rebecca Neuhoff, Daniel Ross and Peter Ross as well as her seven grandchildren. One of which she holds dearly in her arms in Heaven. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 15, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Lombard Funeral Home,3 Bridge Street, Monson, MA.

The burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. in Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge, MA. Anyone who wishes to attend is welcome.
