Carl Boshears, age 90, of Jacksboro passed away on Friday May 4, 2018 in LaFollette. He was a devout Christian and attended Cumberland View Baptist Church. Carl was a World War II Veteran and a lifelong member of Teamster Local 124.
Preceded in death by his parents, Joe Riley and Lola Boshears, sister and brother in law Aileen and William(Dub)Blakley and brother in laws Ralph Cooper, and Carl Bright. Survived by his loving and devoted wife Lois Chapman Boshears, he is also survived by his 4 daughters, Linda (Larry )Smith, Brenda (Bill) Eager, Carlene (Richard) Gregoire, Paula (David) Vaughan-Lorie all from Michigan and Pat (Ray) Fraley & Billy Chapman from Jacksboro, and survived by 10 blessed grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, survived by brothers, Douglas (Anna) Boshears, Melvin (Leora) Boshears, Donnie (Betty) Boshears all of LaFollette, sisters Dorothy (Dot) Cooper of Sweetwater and Shirley Anne Boshears Bright of LaFollette and also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Monday May 7, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 pm in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home, funeral service will follow at 8:00 with Pastor James West of White Rock Baptist Church officiating.
