Mr. Carl Avery was born May 15, 1959 to the late great Rufus Avery and Dorothy Burton, his mother the late great Mrs. Blondell Avery also played a significant role in his upbringing. Carl graduated from Stuttgart High School in 1979, from there he enlisted into the National Guard. From there he began working at Riceland Foods, where he was employed for 25 years before his illness forced him to retire earlier than he wanted to.

Carl was a hardworking man. He loved to wash his vehicles and travel. He also loved his grandchildren.

On December 28, 1987 he and his late wife; Mrs. Cloris Avery were united in Holy Matrimony. Later on through his life he and his wife joined Allen Temple Church under the leadership of Reverend Gilbert Byrd. He was preceded in death by his wife; Cloris Avery, his parents, two sisters; Lucille and Linda.

Three brothers; Calvin, Willis and Arthur. He leaves to cherish his memories two daughters; Kadeisha Avery, TaKeasha (James) McCoy. One son; Carl Avery Jr all of Stuttgart, Arkansas.

Six brothers; Rufus Avery (Debra) Jr, Clarence (Linda) Avery , Gilbert (Mae) Avery all of Stuttgart, Arkansas, Johnny (Reatha) Avery of Fort Worth, Texas, Rocky Avery and Cedrick Avery of Dallas, Texas. Six Sisters; Shirley Coleman and Ella Burton of Fresno, CA, Jackie (Maurice) Avery of Stuttgart, Arkansas, Teresa Avery of Little Rock, Arkansas, Desseei Avery of Los Angeles, California. Six grandchildren; Jordan, Shardacia and Mo’Neacia Avery, JaRiyah Bell, Brieonna Avery and Royal Ewans.

A very special friend Ms. Yvette Manuel. Two dear friends; Keith and Kerri Mac. A very close and special cousin; Mr. Eddie Murry.

A host of nieces, nephews and other relatives that will miss him tremendously. Funeral Service will be 11:00am on Saturday, July 21 ,2018 by Pastor Gilbert Byrd. Visitation will be Friday, July 20, 2018 both to be held at Allen Temple Missionary Baptist Church.
