Talarico, age 87, of Gibsonia, formerly Shaler and Morningside, passed away peacefully at home after an extended illness. Dearly beloved husband for 37 years Theresa (Zyglowicz) Fortuna Talarico. Step-father of Judy (Joseph) Hutzler and Linda Fortuna.

Brother of James Talarico and David Harriger. Preceded in death by his parents, the late Joseph Talarico and Helen Seaman Harriger. A U.S. Navy Korean War Veteran, Carl retired as Tire Division Manager of Talarico Motors and was an active member of St. Richard and St. Bonaventure Parishes.

His main passions were golf, where he was a member of Club at Shadow Lakes, square dancing with North Hills Squares, round dancing, and ballroom dancing at the local Elks & Moose Lodges. Carl also enjoyed traveling and playing cards with friends. Friends received Sunday 1-8 p.m. at Schellhaas Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Ltd., 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 10 a.m. in St. Richard Church, 3841 Dickey Road, Gibsonia. Interment with military honors to follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Family suggests donations to Little Sisters of the Poor or St. Vincent de Paul.
