Melson of Mattawan passed Saturday February 16, 2019 at home. Carla was born May 23, 1955 in Clare the daughter of Clarence and Donna (Poole) Santora. She attended Almena United Methodist Church and was employed by Midwest Fasteners and enjoyed spending time with her family.

On December 15, 1973 in Kalamazoo Carla was united in marriage to Robert Melson who survives. Also surviving are her children, Rob (Crystal) Melson of Allegan, Kris (Domini) Melson of Mattawan; brothers, Greg (Kathy) Santora of Battle Creek, Ed (Linda) Santora of Comstock; sister, Marge (Harry) Foote of Vicksburg; six grandchildren; several nieces & nephews. Private graveside services will be held at Mt.

Ever-Rest Memorial Park. Arrangements by Redmond Funeral Home, 4100 S. Westnedge Ave. Kalamazoo, MI 49008 (269) 343-6156.
