Obituary of Carl Waggoner Carl E. Waggoner September 22, 1939 – May 18, 2018 Bedford- Carl E. Waggoner, 78, of Springville, died at 11:20 am, on Friday, May 18, 2018 at Golden Living Center in Bloomington. Born September 22, 1939, in Martin County, he was the son of Ralph and Flossie (Rush) Waggoner. He was a retired carpenter.

He married Shirley Parker on September 19, 1958 and she preceded him in death on August 21, 2016. Survivors include his children; Terry Waggoner and wife Shawn, Carla Payton, and Chris Waggoner and wife Jami; nine grandchildren, Byron Waggoner, Evett Waggoner, Andrew Waggoner, Aaron Waggoner, Tevin Payton, Shelby England, Kali Payton, Randa Payton, and Gracie Waggoner; several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; two brothers. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, three brothers, and a granddaughter in infancy.

Graveside services will be conducted at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, May 22nd at Lowder Cemetery with Pastor Bob Phillips officiating. Burial will follow at Lowder Cemetery. Carl’s wish was to have no visitation.
