OBITUARY Carlo Rankel January 22, 1934 – November 3, 2018 Carlo Rankel of Katonah, NY passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at the age of 84. Carlo was born to Mario and Carla Rankel on January, 22, 1934 in Mt. Vernon, NY.

Carlo was the owner and arborist of Acorn Tree Service that was founded out of Mt. Vernon. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed growing apples, peaches, grapes and many other fruits and vegetables.

Carlo was the beloved husband Gertrude Alba Rankel who predeceased him in September 1994. He is the father of Robert Rankel (Anne), Katherine Seymour, Carl Rankel, and Brian Rankel (Mary K.), the grandfather to Joseph, Johnathan, Christina, Claire, Daniel, Carla, Sharon, and Charlie, and the great grandfather to Isaiah and Gabriella.
