OBITUARY Carlos Enrique McKanobb March 11, 1956 – October 13, 2018 Carlos Enrique McKanobb, age 62, died on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Framingham Union Hospital with his family at his side. Mr. McKanobb was born on March 11, 1956 in Limon, Costa Rica. He traveled to the USA when he was a small child with his older siblings in 1968 to be with his parents in Manchester, N.H.
He attended elementary school in Manchester and later moved to Framingham, MA finally settling in Natick, Ma. He was a “1976 Bicentennial Year” graduate of Natick High School. Carlos later served his country in the Army.
He began a long career with Hostess Continental Bakery until the division moved to New Hampshire. He later worked and retired from Certainteed in Westwood after he became ill. Carlos loved sports through out his life.
In his younger years he played a variety of sports but his favorite sport to play was basketball. During his adulthood he played slow pitch softball for many years. He also loved his “Pittsburgh Steelers” even in when the rest of the family was cheering on the Patriots!
Carlos was a gentle giant that everyone loved. He would do anything for anyone in need. He would brighten up a room the minute he entered with his funny quotes and sense of humor.
During his single years, if anyone was looking for Carlos he could be found dancing at the 50’s Club in Marlbough, MA. The biggest dream for Carlos was to be married and have a family one day. Then one day he found the love of his life, Frances.
He was a devoted husband, grandfather, stepfather and brother in law and person to everyone and anyone. He was so proud and so happy. Carlos is and will forever be deeply missed by this family and many friends.
He leaves behind his beloved wife of 10 years, Frances Nardoto McKanobb. He leaves behind his siblings:Rico McKanobb, Patricia Phillips and husband Jessie, Ivonny Niles and husband Brian, Jose McKanobb and wife Barbara and sister in law Mara Martins. His closest and dearst cousin Steve Clark.
His stepchildren: Claudia, Viviane, Renate and Emanuel. His beloved grandchildren Nicole, Julia, Joao and Hector. His adored nieces and nephews: Deborah, Sofia, Dale, Richard, Randy, Brian, Rebekah, Kaneesha, Torey, Corey, and many great nieces and nephew including Amika, Robert and Mia.
Carlos was preceded in death by his parents Hubert and Nerma McKanobb Funeral services will be held Friday, October 19, 2018, at 11AM at the MetroWest Funeral & Cremation Service of Wadsworth-Chiappini, 318 Union Avenue, Framingham. Interment will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery in Natick. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 18, from 5-8PM at the funeral home.
