Carmela “Carrie” Catalano, 85, a lifelong resident of Port Chester died peacefully December 24, 2018. She was born May 6, 1933 in Port Chester to the late Canio and Maria Summa Vaccaro. She was raised and educated in Port Chester, graduating from Port Chester High School in 1951.

Carmela was an office manager at Bantam US Toys in Port Chester for 33 years. She was a parishioner of the Holy Rosary Church in Port Chester, NY. She was a devoted mother and grandmother.

Mrs. Catalano is survived by her husband Domenick “Mimi” Catalano of Port Chester, daughter Donna Mecca of Stamford, CT. , granddaughters Stephanie Mecca and Michelle Mecca both of Stamford, CT. and great granddaughter Ariiyah Mecca-Sawyer.

She was predeceased by her brothers Salvatore, John, Anthony “Ty” and William Vaccaro and sisters Mae Varbero and Gertrude “Trudy” Latella. Visitation will be 8:30AM to 10:30AM on Friday December 28, 2018 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00AM at Saint Paul’s RC Church 84 Sherwood Ave. Greenwich, Ct.
