Obituary for Carmelo L. Gutierrez Carmelo L. Gutierrez entered into the hands of his Lord and Savior on Monday, January 07, 2019 at the age of 80. He was a loving son, father, grandfather, and friend to all who knew him and will be greatly missed. He is preceded in death by his parents, Victor Gutierrez and Genevieve Ortega.

He leaves his beloved children and grandchildren to cherish is memory; his son Luis Gutierrez, and daughters Sylvia Tapia and Soledad Cardea and 6 grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 9:00pm with a Vigil/Rosary at 7:00pm on Friday, January 11, 2019 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass Drive. A Funeral Mass will begin at 12:00pm on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 10000 Pheasant.
