OBITUARY Carol A Knutson August 26, 1938 – November 3, 2018 Carol A. Knutson (nee Lindberg), 80, of Des Plaines for 48 years, passed away peacefully on November 3. Carol was an inquisitive, intelligent homemaker who gladly shared her wisdom with those she loved. She adored her four grandchildren and was a wonderful cook and hostess who enjoyed entertaining at the family vacation home in Delavan, Wisconsin.

She loved travelling with her husband and family. Carol will always be remembered for her beauty and sense of humor. Beloved wife for 59 years of the late Richard A. Knutson; cherished mother of Michael R. (Carrie) and Linda J. (Robert) Birman; grandmother of Carly, Megan, Emilee, and Jeremy; loving daughter of the late Raymond J and the Late Evelyn Lindberg (nee Schwarz); dear sister of Jane Brill and sisters-in-law Judith Conwell and Karen Sell; loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.

A memorial visitation will begin at 1 p.m., and the service will begin at 3:30 p.m., on Saturday, November 17 at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner Street, Des Plaines, IL 60016. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
