Carol’s Obituary Carol A. Schlier, 75, of Jessup, Pennsylvania, died on Thursday, February 28, 2019, at Commonwealth Health Regional Hospital of Scranton. Born June 26, 1943, in Lehighton, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Ruth Leikel and wife of the late Cletus R. Schlier. Carol was an avid Bingo player, and a Jolly Joe Timmer Fan.

Survivors: Son, Clayton A. Schlier of Bowmanstown, and Donald L. Schlier of Nesquehoning. Daughters, Cindy Lou wife of Edward Whitehead, Jr. of Lehighton, and Veronica Hackler of Salisbury Township. Sister Joan Smith of Lehighton.

Thirteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Brian K. Schlier, and a sister, Joyce “Cookie” Walck. Services: The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by an 11:00 a.m. funeral service, all on Friday, March 8, 2019, at the Miller Funeral Home, 37 Fairview Street, Lehighton, PA 18235.
