Carol Ann Thompson, of Dover, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, December 26, 2018, in Compassionate Care Hospice at St. Francis Hospital. She was 73. Carol Ann was born February 13, 1945, in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late, Jack & Genevieve(Haynes) Thompson.

In her younger years she worked long & hard; then in her later years she enjoyed spending time with her family and close friends. She enjoyed feeding the squirrels, and relaxing under the gazebo. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Shawn.

Carol Ann is survived by 3 siblings, Wanda, of Delaware; Jackie, of Ohio; and Kenny, of Georgia; her beloved niece and “adopted Daughter” Tonya Downs; her little angels, nieces & nephew; and her special angels great-nieces & nephew; and her grandchildren, Samantha & Matthew. Services will be Private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital Memorial Program, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN.
