Carol A. Potter, age 63, passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2018, in Spring Valley, MN surrounded by family. A visitation for Carol Potter will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Monday, July 30, 2018, at the Hindt Funeral Home in Spring Valley. Hindt Funeral Home Spring Valley is in charge of arrangements.

Carol Ann Thompson was born on March 5, 1955 to Roy and Margaret (Westphal) Thompson in Preston, MN. She was a longtime waitress at Big Bob’s and later worked at Walmart North for 7 years. Carol enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandsons.

She loved taking trips to try her luck at the casino. Carol is survived by her two children Michael (Angie) Potter and Roxanne (Jared Mead) Potter; 5 grandsons: Andrew, Braydon, Josh, Dylan, and Jackson; two sisters: Suzie (Kenny) Kohn and Pearl Turbenson; a brother Mike (Sherri) Thompson; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, 5 brothers, and 1 sister.
