OBITUARY Carol Ann Wright December 25, 1937 – September 1, 2018 Carol Ann Wright, of Pocasset passed away Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Royal Megansett Nursing Home. Born in New Bedford, MA, a daughter of the late William and Kathryn (Overy) Wright, Sr. Carol resided in Pocasset all of her life and attended Bourne schools. She was a longtime member of the Pocasset Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sisters, Virginia Nielsen of Falmouth and Eleanor Brander of Rehoboth; a brother John Wright and his wife Jean of Connecticut, many nieces and nephews and a brother-in-law, Morris Monette. She was the sister of the late Marcia Monette and William “Billy” Wright, Jr. Carol’s family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff at the Royal Megansett for the kind and loving care given to her. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Pocasset Cemetery County Road Bourne, MA.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in her memory may be made to the Bourne Conservation Trust 1104 Route 28A Cataumet, MA 02534. Arrangements by the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home 40 MacArthur Blvd. , Bourne, MA.
