Carol Anne Dominique Bau, 78, of Brookneal, VA (previously of Monroe Two. , NJ) passed away Saturday, November 10, 2018 surrounded by family at her residence. Ms. Bau was born in Buffalo, New York on March 22, 1940, daughter of the late Raymond Dominique and Marie Brodtmann Dominique.

She was a retired Health Care Coordinator. Carol’s most treasured moments were spent with her beloved family, friends, and pets. She was a skilled cook and enjoyed reading and games.

She will be dearly missed and forever in the memory of all of those she touched. She is survived by five children; Karan Tumasz of Bensalem, PA; Christopher Konopko of Monroe Twp. , NJ, Constance Rowan (Edward) of East Brunswick, NJ, Richard Konopko of St. Petersburg, FL, and Veronica Konopko of Brookneal, VA; seven grandchildren; Nancy Healey-Grass(Kevin), Dr. Kati Healey, Amanda Konopko, Christopher Konopko(Makayla), Dr. Nicholas Rowan, Tuesday Rowan, Allison Rowan-Giordano(Christopher); three great-grandchildren; Kaleigh Konopko, Greyden and Genevieve Giordano; and a sister-in-law Janet Dominique.

Ms. Bau is preceded in death by a brother, Raymond”Buzzy” Dominique and a sister, Janet Willenbrock. Family and friends will be received for a memorial service Sunday, November 25, 2018 from 2-4pm at the Bronson & Guthlein Funeral Home of Milltown, NJ.
