OBITUARY Carol E Maudsley March 25, 1933 – November 12, 2018 Carol E. Maudsley (85) of Attica died Monday, November 12, 2018 at the Willows at Willard. She was born March 25, 1933 in Bucyrus to the late William and Alma (Ball) Maudsley. Mrs. Maudsley worked at the Attica Post Office for over 30 years and was a member of the Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church where she served as treasurer for many years.
She was a member of the Altar Rosary Society and volunteer at the Attica Food Pantry. Mrs. Maudsley always stayed active and enjoyed traveling. Mrs. Maudsley is survived by her brother: James R. (Susan) Maudsley of Willard, sister: Ruth Ann Wise of Attica, several nieces and nephews which were like her own children and special friend: Anna Marie Niedermier of Attica.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister: Marilyn Walliser. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, November 16, 2018 at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church. Friends will be received on Thursday from 3-6 PM with the Rosary being prayed at 2:30 PM at the Lindsey-Foos-Kocher Funeral Service, 295 W. Tiffin Street, Attica.
Burial will be held at St. Stephen Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Hope or Attica Food Pantry through the funeral home.
