Carol M. “Nana” Gonder, 72, of Tower City, passed away Friday at UMPC, Pinnacle, Harrisburg. Born in Sheridan, November 3, 1946, a daughter of the late Charles and Myrtle Kelly Bendigo. Carol was a retired seamstress from the garment industry.

She enjoyed being with her family, gardening and spending time at her former camp in Millersburg along the Susquehanna River. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Kimberly Fickinger, 2017 Surviving are her husband, Donald L. Gonder; one son, Chip Gonder and his wife Corie, Tower City; son-in-law, Ralph Fickinger, Williamstown; five grandchildren, Kelley Fickinger Ney and her husband Steve; Riley Fickinger and his companion Kelly Deitrich; Shiann Wolfe, Colin and Chloe Gonder; two great grandchildren, Carter Fickinger and Ryder Ney; two sisters, Janice Picola, Williamstown and Judy Hentz, Horsham. Nieces and nephews.
