Obituary for Carol Jean Taylor Carol Jean Taylor (nee: Rhomberg), 73, of Littleton, Colorado went home to be with her Lord and Savior. She passed peacefully at her home on Friday, November 9 after a 2 plus year battle with Lymphoma. She was born on July 4, 1945 in Chicago, Illinois, and adopted by Henry and Irene Rhomberg.

Her parents were so happy when they got her that they felt like singing Christmas carols, and thus they named her Carol. Carol was a loving mother and grandmother, a dedicated pastor’s wife, faithful pianist, and a wonderful homemaker. She had a generous and giving spirit and was a faithful and loving friend to numerous individuals and families.

She is survived by her husband, James (Jim) of 52 years, her son Brad of Denver, her daughter Judi (Jeff) Pring of Denver, and her daughter Susan Taylor of Winter Park, and her three grandchildren, Kallista 17, Owen 11, and Willett 9. She is further survived by a dear cousin Elaine (Robert) Tietz of Carlsbad, California, and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 17, at 2:00 pm at the Creekside Bible Church in Castle Rock.
