Carol L. Hill, 66, of Auburn passed away Sunday, December 16, 2018 at Memorial Medical Center. She was born May 16, 1952 in Fairfield, IL; the daughter of Leonard and Wanda Turner Madden. She was preceded in death by her parents, and grandson, Tyler Mason Smith.

Carol married Cletus “Doc” Hill on July 5, 1972 at Rochester Methodist Church. She retired from Wells Fargo in 2011. She delivered the paper in Auburn for over 10 years.

Carol loved being a grandmother to her 18 grandchildren. Surviving are her husband, Cletus “Doc”; five daughters, Angie (Tim) Imler of Springfield, Carla Brennan of Springfield; Jenny (Jason) Biggs of Green Forrest, AR, Becky (Joe) Dobbs of Springfield, and Amy (Adam) Kuntzman of Virden; 17 grandchildren; three brothers; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 4pm till 7pm, Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Bramley Funeral Home, Auburn.

Services will be at 10am, Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Auburn Cemetery. Memorial may be made to United Cerebral Palsy and Vision of Hope.
