Carol L. Storjohann, 80, a resident of Davenport, Iowa died on Friday, June 22, 2018 at the Clarissa Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf, Iowa. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, June 29, 2018 at the Rock Island National Cemetery. Those wishing to attend her service should meet at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf by 9:30 A.M. on Friday.

Memorials may be made to the family. She was born in Oglesby, Illinois on March 23, 1938, the daughter of Leo and Nellie (Taylor) Clausen. On June 25, 1961, she was united in marriage to Helmut Storjohann at St. Mark Lutheran Church in Davenport.

He preceded her in death on September 28, 2009. Carol was a devoted wife, mom & homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and caring for her beloved family.

Those left to honor her memory include her sons, Gregory Storjohann of Denver, Colorado, Phillip Storjohann of Davenport and Jonathon Storjohann of Davenport; her daughter, Sandra (George) McFarland of Davenport; her granddaughter, Stephanie; her sister, Barbara Alleman of Oglesby, Illinois; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her sons, Daniel Storjohann and Bruce Storjohann; her sisters, Joanne, Lois, Vivian and Darlene; and her brothers, Charles, Jake and John.
