Carol Lavonne Pierce, age 79, of Decatur, passed away on Dec. 21, at her home. She was born near Raymond on September 16, 1939 the daughter of Charles W. and Edna A. Goodwin Devaisher.

She was a waitress and Homemaker. Carol loved to garden, read and her dogs. She married Ralph Edmund Davis and later William R. Pierce both preceded her in death.

She is survived by her sons Chuck (Kim) Boan of Stillman Valley, IL and Ralph Davis of Madison WI, daughter, Rise` Davis of Decatur, Step Children Keith Pierce of Machesney Park, IL, Eddie (Nancy) Peirce Chandler, AZ, Lynnetta Phillips of Memphis and Brother Ron (Karen) Devaisher of IN. A Grandson Joshua Fabish and Sarah Person also survive. Services will be held on Jan.

5, 2019 at Hough Funeral Home in Raymond at 9:00 am with burial to follow in Asbury Cemetery in Raymond. A Memorial gathering will be held from 1-3pm on also on Jan. 5, 2019 at the Illinois Education Association Office at 2905 N. Main St. Suite E. Decatur, IL 62526 Memorials in Carols name maybe left to the Friends of Decatur Public Library or the Macon County Humane Society.
