OBITUARY Carol N. “Toni” Kidd September 18, 1939 – October 2, 2018 Play Tribute Movie KIDD, Carol N. “Toni”, 79, of Varina, passed away on October 2, 2018, surrounded by her loved ones, after a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s disease. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Myrtle Nuckols; and her sister, Francis Johnson. Toni is survived by her beloved husband of 62 years, Charles Kidd Sr.; her three sons, Charles Jr., Steven (Melissa) and Michael (Teri); five grandchildren, Chad (Anastasia), Lyndsie (Josh), Chelsea (Philip), Emily and Amber (David); four great-grandchildren, Noah, Jeremiah, Kaylynn and Sophie; three sisters, June, Kay and Sandy; one brother, Bobby, and many nieces and nephews.
Toni was a sweet and generous soul who dedicated her life to raising her boys and taking care of family and friends’ children. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, October 5, at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave. , Richmond, Va.
