Carol “Auntie” Revels, age 81, of Marquette, passed away on Friday, December 14, 2018, at Waupun Memorial Hospital. She was born on December 25, 1936, in Princeton, WI, a daughter of Walter Emil and Johanna Julia (Hoffman) Schwark. Carol was baptized at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Princeton and confirmed at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Markesan.

On August 1, 1965, Carol married Elmer Revels at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Markesan. For over 25 years, she worked at PMI in Markesan. Carol was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Marquette.

She was well known for baking Christmas cookies. Carol loved crocheting and made afghans for many people. She enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family.

Since her retirement, she also enjoyed watching the Packers, Brewers and Badgers. Carol is survived by 3 brothers, Carl (Shirley) Schwark of Ooltewah, TN, Melvin (Elizabeth) Schwark of St. Germain, WI, Ralph Schwark of Manitowoc, WI; nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, great-grand nieces and nephews, many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Johanna Schwark; husband, Elmer Revels; 1 brother in infancy.

A memorial service for Carol Revels will be held on Saturday, December 22, 2018, at 11:30 a.m., with visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m., at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 226 Sherman Ave, in the village of Marquette. Pastor Michael Plagenz will officiate. Burial will follow the service in the Greenwood Cemetery in Dalton.
