Carol’s Obituary Carol J. Tucker, 72, of Milwaukee passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2019. Carol was born in Keshena on October 26, 1946, daughter of the late Alfred and Augustine (Dodge) Tucker. Carol lived in Keshena until high school when her family moved to Dallas, Texas, they returned to Wisconsin in 1963 where Carol has resided in Milwaukee ever since.

Carol was an elderly services coordinator for the intertribal council. She loved her job and enjoyed caring for the elderly. Carol loved her family and cherished spending time with them.

She also loved her second family at Gene’s Unicorn in Milwaukee (“the office”, as she liked to call it). In her free time she enjoyed playing bingo and shooting pool. Carol is survived by: her siblings, Deanna (Tucker) Arispe, Paula Tucker and Tony Tucker; numerous nieces and nephews, including two special nephews Kenneth and David Doxtator; and her special chum, Meya “the devil”.

She is preceded in death by: her twin sister, Barbara Shelafoe; a brother Edward Tucker; a nephew, Jimmy Shelafoe; and her parents. A memorial gathering in honor of Carol will be held after 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at the Paula Tucker residence, W1822 Bent Arrow Rd. in Keshena.
