OBITUARY Carol Vivian Tanner October 3, 1936 – October 30, 2018 Carol Vivian Tanner, age 82, member of Calvary Bible Church, passed away Oct. 30, 2018. Carol was a bubbly, fun, wacky one of a kind of person who never knew a stranger.

She was a loving and generous person who enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eldon G. Tanner; both parents, Christopher and Jacquelin Shaw; and sisters, Helen Devakis and Virginia Boyer. Carol is survived by son, Roy (Cindy) Tanner; daughters, Sharon (Jim) Nightingale and Tina (Bruce) Martin; grandchildren, Ryan (Kim) Allen, Kevin Allen, Leah (Ben) Jung, Lydia (Clayton) Allensworth, Leslie (Garrett) Bump, Layton Nightingale, Jacob Tanner; and great grandchildren; Cole Allen, Ethan, Asher, Eleanor, and Anna Jung, Brayden and Bennett Allensworth, and Owen Bump.

A Celebration of Life service will be 3:00 pm, Saturday, Nov. 3, 2018, at Resthaven Mortuary Chapel. Memorials may be made to Victory in the Valley, 3755 E. Douglas Ave.
