Obituary for Carole M. Applegate Carole Mann Applegate of Lake Worth passed away on June 14, 2018. Originally from Macon, Georgia, Carole moved to Florida in 1967. She and her husband raised two children and built a thriving construction company together.

Friends and family remember her hospitality, love for children, and southern cooking. In the recent years, Carole has been best known as Gammy. Family meals and vacations were precious to Carole, as they kept those she adored most close to her.

She will be deeply missed by her adoring husband of 51 years, Bill Applegate, her son Bill Applegate (Sarah), her daughter Beth Matejka, and her grandchildren, Justyn and Jessica Matejka and Emma, Will, and Charlie Applegate. Family and friends are welcomed to the viewing from 12:30-2:00 PM on June 22, 2018 followed by a service at 2 PM at Palms West Funeral Home, 110 Business Park Way in Royal Palm Beach, FL.
