Obituary for Mrs. Carole J. McWhirter Carole J. McWhirter, 76, of Port Huron, passed away on December 19, 2018 in St. John Moross Hospital after a short illness. She was born on December 1, 1942 in St. Clair, daughter of the late Carl and Florence Hinz. Carole enjoyed her grandchildren and she had a laugh people won’t forget.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, David (Laura) Kettlewell of Waterford; daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie (George) Murdick of For Gratiot; grandchildren: Nick Bridgewood, Colin Steward, Kersti Steward and Sean Kettlewell; great-grandchildren: Carson Moody, Cooper Martin and Sawyer Kettlewell. A Celebration of Her Life will be at a later date. Cremation has taken place.

Arrangements are in care of Jowett Funeral Home, 1634 Lapeer Ave. , Port Huron. Memorial tributes may be made to the American Cancer Society.
