Caroline’s Obituary Caroline M. Gehris, 76, of Dillsburg, passed away Monday, May 13, 2019, at the Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill. She was born May 9, 1943, in Magnolia, NJ the daughter of the late Franklin J. and Sophie (Subecz) Cowen. Caroline was a former member of the Dillsburg Alliance Church and enjoyed reading, bible study, spending time on the computer and going to the gym with her husband and using the treadmill.

She is survived by her husband, Wilmer K. Gehris, Jr.; four sons, Michael K. Gehris of Reading, David A. Gehris of Orefield, Steven M. Gehris of East Fallowfield, Daniel K. Gehris of Camp Hill; one brother, Robert Cowen of Daviey, FL; one sister, Lillian Meanner of Glenmoore; 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Caroline was preceded in death by a daughter Debbra M. Fluck and two sisters, Francine Mayberry and Sophie Youst. Service will be held Thursday, May 23, 2019, at 12:00 noon in the Cocklin Funeral Home, Inc., 30 N. Chestnut St., Dillsburg, A viewing will be held Thursday one hour prior to the service.
