Caroline Uehlein January 27, 1917 – December 19, 2018 Caroline Mathilda Uehlein, 101, of Lorain, OH passed away on December 19, 2018 in Davidson, NC. Caroline was born in Lorain, OH on January 27, 1917 to the late John F. Raider and Susannah Repko Raider. During WWII she was a riveter assembling airplanes.

Caroline lived a life filled with joy and was loved by all who knew her. She was the heart and soul of our family. On December 19th, we lost an amazing woman and will forever be grateful for the life lessons she taught us, her compassion, and most of all her love.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy J. Uehlein (Bud) and daughter, Agnes Uehlein. Caroline is survived by her daughter, Lynda Sue Cairns (Daniel); sons Wayne T. Uehlein (Barbara) and Ronald J. Uehlein (Linda); grandchildren, Daniel Cairns (Brandy), James Cairns, Kimberly Ortmayer (Scott), Dr. Carrie Uehlein, Katie Rising (Scott), Ryan Uehlein (Brooke), Michael Uehlein; and great grandchildren, Justin, Alexis, Anna, David, Benjamin, Caroline, Kennedy, Jackson, and Jordan. A graveside service will be held at a later date at Calvary Cemetery in Lorain, OH.

Memorial Donations may be made to Scholarship Fund, St. Peters Catholic School, Lorain, OH.
