(Ella) Carolyn B. Wall, 89, of Jeannette, passed from this life Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2019. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister and friend.

She was born Aug. 24, 1929, in Jeannette. She was the daughter of the late Matilda M. (Moore) Bender and William Ray Bender.

Carolyn was always an adventurous young girl. As a teenager, she welcomed the time she worked at Royer’s in Greensburg with her sister, Sally. She attended Greensburg High School, and it was there she met her future husband, John Wall.

They were married Aug. 15, 1949. Carolyn was always there to greet you with a smile and an ear to listen.

Everyone loved to visit Carolyn’s cozy kitchen where something good was always cooking and the candy dish was always full. She was loving and caring throughout her whole life and was always looking out for others. She was a member of the Hempfield walking program where she met many dear and lasting friends.

In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Wall; her sister, Sarah (Sally) Jane Mountan; brother-in-law, Dr. A. Wayne Mountan; and son-in-law, Robert G. Williams Sr. Carolyn is survived by her sister, Nancy (Bender) Weaver and husband, Jim; and loving daughters, Becky (Wall) Williams and Pat (Wall) Bella and her husband, Gerard Bella. Additionally, she is survived by grandson, Robert G. Williams Jr. and his wife, Tamson; granddaughter, Kristen L. Blazavich and husband, Michael; and grandson, Gerry Bella Jr. and his fiancee, Anne Betz. She held seven precious great-grandchildren in her arms, Oliver, Rowan, Wesley, Eleanor ‘Ella’ Williams, Mikayla, Cassie and Julianna Blazavich.

She loved all of her nieces and nephews, Cheryl, Charlie, Debbie, Rick, Amy, Denny, Ann, Chris, Ray, Bill, Cindy and the late Greg and Carolyn. You will be in our hearts forever. We will be reunited on God’s golden shore.

Friends will be received from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 13 at KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME, 524 North Main St., Greensburg. Funeral services for Carolyn will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan.

14, in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 1100 Liberty Ave. , Pittsburgh, PA 15222.
