Carolyn Beaty Heckendorn Sarepta, LA Funeral Services for Mrs. Carolyn Beaty Heckendorn, age 67, will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, May 8, 2019, at Bailey Funeral Home with Bro. MartyWright officiating. Interment will follow in Emma Cemetery, Cotton Valley, LA under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 7, 2019, 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Bailey Funeral Home. Mrs. Heckendorn was born on June 16, 1951 to Lafayette and Sybil Pryor Beaty in Springhill, LA and passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2019 in Sarepta, LA. She worked as a paralegal for the Northwest Louisiana Legal Services for over 25 years, and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Frank Heckendorn of Sarepta, LA; two daughters, Kimberly Smith and husband, Josh of Bradley, AR, Ashleigh Jackson and husband, Paul of Springhill, LA; son, Jacob Heckendorn of Sarepta, LA; three granddaughters, Aubri Smith of Bradley, AR, Berlin Jackson of Springhill, LA, Landry Jackson of Springhill, LA; grandson, Luke Smith of Bradley, AR; brother, James Beaty and wife, Kathy of Caldwell, TX; nieces; Jacklyn Beaty of Sarepta, LA, Jayden Beaty of Sarepta, LA, Josey Beaty of Sarepta, LA, Kristi Shepherd of Brenham, TX, Jessica Charanza of Houston, TX; and nephews Howard Beaty Jr. of Crossett, AR and Joe Beaty or Sarepta, LA. Mrs. Heckendorn was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Howard Beaty, Sr. Pallbearers will be Joe Beaty, Howard Beaty Jr., Charlie Dick, Jeffery Beshea, Paul Jackson, and Josh Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Dan Heckendorn, Sammy Sanders, Ken Thomas, and Scotty Keene.
