Funeral service for Mrs. Carolyn Williams, 74, of Oxford will be Friday, March 1, 2019, at Anniston Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Betty Bishop and Chaplin Michael Richardson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Burial will follow the service at Forestlawn Gardens in Anniston. Mrs. Williams died Saturday, February 23, 2019, at Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center, surrounded by her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Sarah Bishop and 10 brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Williams is survived by her husband of 56 years, Thomas “Tom” Williams; a daughter, Cynthia Williams; a son, Greggory Williams (Mandy); a Grandchild, Samuel Luke Williams; Brothers, Jim Bishop, Aubie Wayne Barker and, Brother in law, Ronald Williams; Sisters, Brenda Cruise (Kenneth); Sisters in law Ann and Joan Williams; several nieces and nephews. Lifelong friends Paulette Cline of 50 years and Mary Ward of 35 years. Pallbearers will be Gregg Williams, Samuel Luke Williams, Kris Birdstresser, Nicolas Ward, Guy Cruise and Tommy Bishop.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the charity of your choice. The family would also like to say a special thank you to the staff at RMC ICU and Southern Care New Beacon Hospice.
