She was blessed to have four grandchildren and three great grandchildren whom she loved dearly and prayed that they each have a wonderful life full of love and happiness.

She loved her parents Minnie Edna (Duncan) King and Wesley William King and took very good care of them until their deaths. My mother loved many things in life; she was a cheerleader in school, loved to roller skate and was on a bowling team. She loved taking trips, spending summers camping at the lake sitting by fires and fishing.

She caught many a catfish and loved being out on the boat. She had many talents she was a hairdresser, a wonderful homemaker, and loved babysitting children in her home. She was always cooking but mostly loved making pies and cakes.

Her passion was sewing, crocheting, and doing crafts and followed her mother’s love of quilting. Known as the Quilt Maker by many since over the years she quilted over 200 by hand. She coined the phrase “You’re Sweet” and told this to everyone she met.

She loved going to church and seeing her friends at Gospel Lighthouse Pentecostal Church in Tishomingo, MS. The family has requested that family and friends would join them for a Visitaion Service to be held on March 19, 2019 from 9am until Funeral Service at 10am, with burial to follow in Trenton, Tennessee. You are Sweet Jean and we all love you dearly!
