Carolyn Sue Stapleton Jenkins, 69, of Ashland, passed away on Wednesday, September 5, 2018. Carolyn was born October 26, 1948 in Lawrence County, Ohio to the late William Everett Stapleton and the late Mary Ruth Henry Stapleton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Anthony Shawn Stapleton and a brother, Paul David Stapleton.

She leaves behind her loving children, John Jenkins II (Angela) of Westwood, Sherry Brewer of Westwood and Kimberly Ward… Read More » (James) of Ashland; one brother, Mike Stapleton (Anna) of Flatwoods; one sister, Vicki Crites of Greenup; six grandchildren, Shawna McCormick (Steve), Christopher Brewer, Marissa Stamper (Austin), Logan Jenkins, Alexis Wilkes, Shaina Ward and Evelyn Ward; four great grandchildren, Elissa McCormick, Shelby McCormick, Raegan Stamper and Nathaniel Stamper; along with a host of extended family and friends. Funeral services will be Friday, September 7, 2018 at 12:30 PM at Caniff Funeral Home in Westwood with William Dusing, Minister officiating. Entombment will follow at Ashland Cemetery.

Visitation will be 11 AM to 12:30 PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be left at www.
