Carolyn Lee Betz, of Clearwater, passed away May 30, 2018. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on March 13, 1942, the daughter of the late Edward and Mary Jane Koopman. Carolyn was a retired bartender and beautician.

She loved spending time with family and friends. Carolyn is survived by her husband of 27 years Charles Betz; her children Kirk (Kathleen) Dingman, Todd (Julie) Dingman, Danielle (Shannon Ramey) Dingman, Lisa (Eric) Kenney, Carrie (Chris) Blackenbacker, Mandi (John) Tharnish; Eleven grandchildren and two great-granddaughters; siblings Judy Boulton, Ed (Elizabeth) Koopman, Michael and John Koopman. A celebration of Carolyn’s life will be held at the American Legion Post 275, Dunedin, FL on June 23rd at noon.

In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to Suncoast Hospice Yellow Team.
