Mrs. Carolyn Lee Pollard, 73, of Fayetteville passed away on Saturday, September 15, 2018. Carolyn would start talking to whoever was standing next to her and within a few minutes they would be considered best friends. Carolyn was an avid softball player for many years and was a home run hitter.

She was a member of the LaGrange Community Watch Board and a Blue Star Mom Member. She is survived by her husband, Walter Pollard of the home; a daughter, Tammy Blizzard and husband, Stephen of Newport; a son, Roger Pollard and wife, Colleen of Fayetteville; and four grandchildren, Meghan Blizzard, Grace Blizzard, Drew Pollard and Kyle Pollard. Carol had a smile and laugh that would light up a room and she will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be held at 2 pm Friday, September 21, 2018 at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Archie Barringer officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:45 pm to 1:45 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donation be made to The Fisher House of Ft Bragg 3120 Loop Street, Fort Bragg, NC 28307.
