Mrs. Carolyn Smith Landman, 88, of New Market, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday morning. Mrs. Landman was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church and had retired from the Madison County School System where she worked for several years in the cafeteria at Walnut Grove School. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Gerald “Jerry” Landman; By her daughter, Pam Landman Southard; By her daughter-in-law, Jeannie Roden Landman; Her sister, Doris Elizabeth Hoffpauir; Her brothers, Jimmy Smith, John Smith, and Robert Smith; Her sister-in-law, Joyce Landman Harbin; Her parents, Lee & Gertrude Reagan Smith; Her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Kayra & Norene Quick Landman.

Surviving family members include her sons, Joe Landman and Derrik Landman; Her grandson, Chris Southard; Her sister, Linda Price; Her brother-in-law, Billy Harbin. The family will receive friends on Friday from Noon until 2pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2pm at the funeral home with Pastor Billy Langford officiating.

Burial will then be in Concord Cemetery. Hazel Green Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
