Carolyn Sue Henry, 71, passed away October 31, 2018 at her home in LaPorte, Texas. Carolyn was born on July 19, 1947 to parents Talmadge and Betty Poole in Van Vleck, Texas. She was a dedicated Christian, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many.

Carolyn was very family oriented and enjoyed being a fun Nana to her grandchildren. She loved her church and enjoyed the fellowship of her church family. She is preceded in death by her parents; and son, Kevin Ray Bailey. Carolyn is lovingly survived by her husband, Thomas Henry; children, Keith Bailey and companion Jon McGuire, Dana Frederick and companion John Murphy; step-children, Darrell Henry, Nikole Lowry; sister, Sandra Honea; grandchildren, Keilah, Devon, Alyssa, Zackery, Kaitlyn, Kyle, Chase, Alyssa Charvet, Aiden; great-grandchildren, Karter, Avery, Connor, Logan, Megan; as well as numerous extended family members and friends. Friends are welcome to join the family for visitation from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, November 2, 2018 at Carter-Conley Funeral Home.

A celebration of Carolyn’s life officiated by Rev. Rob Morris will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 3rd at River Pointe Church 970 Dell Dale St., Channelview, Texas 77530. Interment is pending at Houston National Cemetery.
