Obituary of Carolyn Meyer Carolyn Ann Brown Meyer September 02, 1947 – May 19, 2018 Oldest of three children belonging to Carlon Franklin Brown and Anna Frances Sturgeon. St. Elizabeth North employee for twenty years beginning in Medical Records before moving on to the X-Ray department where she transcribed reports typing medical terms at 120 words per minute that most of us could neither spell nor pronounce. She was a single mother of one son throughout her career.

Lost her father in 1971, mother in 1996, and her younger sister Connie Sue Brown Bitter in 2010. After raising her son for 18+ years she raised her Autistic grandson Devin Andrew Hamilton for 31+ years dedicating her life to her maternal instincts. Carolyn passed at home just after midnight on May 19, after spending several months in the hospital battling congestive heart failure.

She spent her final day of life doing what she loved, enjoying lunch in the company of her friends whom were kind enough to pick her up and return her home. She was delighted about the trip out of the house, upbeat and in good spirits the night she left us. She leaves behind one son, Scott Allan Meyer and a brother Roger Franklin Brown.

She was an amazing woman of faith that believed in making others happy regardless of how she felt. Left us too soon and will be missed dearly by all of us who loved her.
