OBITUARY Carrie Elizabeth Ceravolo Schifanella December 17, 1930 – January 19, 2019 Carrrie Elizabeth Schifanella age 88 of Homewood, AL passed away January 19, 2019. She retired from South Central Bell with 30 years of service and was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church the past 50 years. Faith in God, love of family, good food, and Alabama Football were the four things she loved most in life.
She is preceded in death by her parents Bernard and Elizabeth Ceravolo son Bernard Schifanella, brothers Frank Ceravolo (Jean) and Bernard Ceravolo (Anna Mae). Mrs. Schifanella is survived by her two sons Thomas Schifanella (Patricia) and Anthony Schifanella her grandchildren Thomas Schifanella, Jr. (Mary) and Shelley Schifanella, her sister Jean Tortomase (her late husband Anthony), great grandchildren Parks and Maddie Schifanella, Grafton and Bennett Williams, several nieces and nephews, along with a host of friends. Visitation for Mrs. Schifanella will be Wednesday, January 23, 2019 from 10:00 AM to11:00 AM at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church a Funeral Mass follow at 11:00 AM.
Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church.
