Obituary for Casimiro Vega Casimiro Vega, 84, of Travelers Rest, passed away Thursday November 29, 2018 at his home. Born in Tampa, FL, he was a son of the late Casimiro Sr. and Teresa Rosell Vega. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Korean War and he was an electrical engineer for Honeywell Company for over thirty years.

He was a dedicated member of the YMCA of Travelers Rest and loved eating Subway Veggie sandwiches. He is survived by his wife of sixty years, Dalia Vega; two daughters: Michelle Geitzenauer (Harold Goodlove), Celeste Vega (Bill Raulerson); five grandchildren: Rachel, Brent, Brenden, Calen, Max; three great grandchildren: Yvette, Makennah and Annastyn. The family will be at the home.
